About
About Our Silver Plume Repair Shop
Small on purpose, so the person who finds the problem is the person who explains it and fixes it.
How the Shop Works
Auto Repair Silver Plume is built around a single technician with 15 years in the auto repair industry, and around one habit: the diagnosis gets explained before the repair gets done. No service writer relays half the story, no one upsells from a script.
Life up here is hard on vehicles. Long grades, cold starts and winter roads wear brakes, cooling systems and transmissions faster than flat-land driving does. That makes an accurate diagnosis worth more, because a wrong guess usually shows up again on the next climb.
We work on everyday cars, SUVs, half-ton pickups and light-duty diesels. Whatever comes in gets the same treatment: test it, explain it, price it, and only then fix it.
What We Are Trying to Do
Give every customer a straight answer about what is wrong with their vehicle, and the information to decide what to do about it. A repair you understand is a repair you can trust.
What to Expect Here
The same person, every step
Inspection, phone call, repair and road test are handled by one technician.
Proof before parts
We test until the fault is confirmed, then show you the reading or the worn part.
Prices before work
You approve the cost before anything is ordered or installed.
Priorities sorted for you
Safety items first, wear items next, the rest noted for later.
Honest repair-or-replace advice
On engines and transmissions we compare both routes with real numbers.
Gas and diesel welcome
Commuter cars and diesel pickups go through the same process in the same bay.
Your First Visit
Call and describe the problem. We book a free vehicle inspection on a weekday, check the system you are worried about plus the usual wear items, and call you with what we found and what it costs. Nothing gets repaired until you say so.
